Since 2017 Google has taken steps to report websites that do not have the HTTPS protocol i.e. site secure web<\/strong>. There have been several inconveniences due to the lack of encrypting the information of a website, because of this we find malicious users who impersonate web pages. When you enter your data to pages that do not have this protocol, you are at risk of being stolen by these unsecured pages making you believe that you are paying to a reliable website.<\/p>\n

I will explain how you can avoid being a victim of cyber attacks and protect your website from malware, infected files, phishing, among others.<\/p>\n

One of the ways to keep your website secure is by hiring an SSL certificate, these offer you tools to protect your information and that of your customers. They encrypt the data that your customers enter in your personal data form and bank accounts, it becomes a communication between the user and the server.<\/p>\n

This security measure will also prevent Google from reporting your website as \"unsafe website\".<\/p>\n

There are several ways to have a phishing threat, with the famous pop-up window, sending an email and the simulation of a public entity. In this case you receive an email where they pretend to be a company to have your data, what they indicate is that it is for security reasons, updates to improve the service or surveys where they force you to put your data.<\/p>\n

It is important to note that hosting providers are not in charge of reporting these sites or are the cause of these failures, as they are not the ones blocking these pages.<\/p>\n

This virus is stored in your computer and captures all the information that you are going to add soon in any web site or in your computer. The link also takes you to a fake web page that looks like the real one where you are still asked to enter your personal data.<\/p>\n

It is very important that you take into account the mail that comes to you, these scammers are very ingenious you may be getting emails from companies name, but you must rectify that there are no numbers in that mail that look like letters, they use substitutions as instead of the \"O\" they can use a \"0\" or a \"1\" instead of an \"L\".<\/p>\n
